HRS-201-v1.0: Mastering Pre-Encapsulation Inspection

This course provides essential training in pre-encapsulation inspection, the critical final step before sealing high-reliability components. You will develop the fundamental skills to guarantee the quality of parts destined for mission-critical systems like satellites and aircraft. Learn to execute inspections, interpret international standards, and make correct accept/reject decisions.
Enrollment in this course is by invitation only

About this Course

Welcome to the Mastering Pre-Encapsulation Inspection course! This training is a critical step in your development as a components technician. Pre-encapsulation inspection, or "pre-cap," is the final and only chance to visually inspect the interior of a component before it is hermetically sealed. The skills you will acquire are fundamental to guaranteeing the quality and reliability of components for mission-critical systems like satellites and aircraft.

Estimated duration: 10 hours.

Recommended prior training: While no specific prior course is mandatory, a basic understanding of cleanroom protocols, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection, and general quality assurance systems is highly recommended. Familiarity with the internal structures of EEE components is beneficial, though you do not need to be an electronics engineer.

Final Capacitation: Upon completion, you will be able to explain the critical importance of pre-cap inspection in high-reliability projects, confidently execute an inspection following official procedures, identify all necessary equipment, and interpret results against MIL-STD and ESCC standards to make correct and defensible accept/reject decisions.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for components technicians, inspectors, quality engineers, and any professional involved in the manufacturing and quality assurance of high-reliability EEE components for the aerospace and defense industries. It is essential for personnel responsible for performing or overseeing the final internal visual inspection before component sealing.
